Winter's first day of school

Winter pretty much spent all of her pre-K year gearing for kindergarten so when her first day rolled around we were all pretty excited.  She wanted to wear a tie like she did for her first day of pre-K but I "suggested" that  a bow tie is just as cool so she went with it.  She's wearing Zara blouse and skirt and brand new vans hightops that were so cute I ended up getting a pair for me!

One of her pre-K classmates happened to be in her class which made for an easy drop-off.  She was all smiles and goodbyes.

Like last year, I took breakfast requests on the first day (as opposed to our usual rotation of cereal, oatmeal, eggo waffles). Nyla asked for pancakes and eggs and bacon for her first day but Winter kept it pretty easy with eggo waffles and eggs.
